As the first Irish Language Commissioner, Pól Deeds brings experience from An Droichead and Foras na Gaeilge to a historic new role for the language. For this year’s Donncha Mac Niallais Memorial Lecture, Pól will reflect on public services for Irish speakers, the place of Irish in public life, and the opportunity to build a more welcoming future for the language.
