January Beginner Classes

Make it your new year's resolution to pick up some cúpla focal, or to expand on what you already have!

By popular demand, we're offering additional beginner's Irish language classes from January the 19th. These courses will run for 20-weeks and are priced at £130 / £100 concessionary. Whiel spaces are available, you can register for classes at our reception or Google Forms, linked here. Payment is taken online through the TicketSource links below, or with cash on-site.

The course

We offer a comprehensive program of Irish language classes and events to encourage the Irish language among the community. Whether you are a beginner or fluent, eight or eighty, living in Derry or looking to study online, we'll have something on offer for you.

Céimeanna Comhrá, our language course, has been specially devised by one of our tutors, Toirealach Ó Gráda, to suit those interested in learning Irish for conversational use. It is taught on a weekly basis and learners build upon their pool of everyday words.
